In an effort to advance the use of digital tools in Arabic language instruction, Dr. Mohammad Ahsanuddin, Head of the Department of Arabic Literature at Universitas Negeri Malang, led a specialized training session for Arabic language teachers on educational technology in language teaching.

The workshop introduced participants to various innovative platforms and digital resources aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and engagement of Arabic lessons. Teachers explored tools for creating interactive media, gamified learning activities, and online assessment systems tailored to the needs of modern students.

Dr. Ahsanuddin highlighted the importance of integrating technology not as a substitute, but as a support system to strengthen pedagogical practices and encourage learner-centered approaches in the Arabic classroom.

The training was met with enthusiasm, as participants gained new insights and practical skills to apply directly in their teaching environments. This program is part of the department’s broader mission to support the continuous professional development of Arabic language educators and to promote innovation in the field of language education.
